Let it be said of us

Awesome truth for all Christians; Matthew 5: 16

Courage to tremble

This is the third song/hymn that cousin Prabhu  taught us from among the songs they sing in his church in Livermore, California.

‘Let it be said of us’  by Steve Fry

Let it be said of us that the Lord was our passion,
That with gladness we bore every cross we were given;
That we fought the good fight, that we finished the course,
Knowing within us the power of the risen Lord

REFRAIN
Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song.
By mercy made holy, by the Spirit made strong.
Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song
‘Til the likeness of Jesus be through us made known.
Let the cross be our glory and the Lord be our song.

Let it be said of us: we were marked by forgiveness,
We were known by our love and delighted in meekness.

Love: Past Eternity into Eternity!

Love is one greater than the universe put together; it is the breath that walks in and out of us wherever we may be found it is greatest than any pain we will ever go through! Love is forever; it is not today; its neither yesterday nor tomorrow; it is always, truly and honestly; They that find love find a truth beyond this world, they find a weapon greater than all the missiles and the hatred of the world’s vastness. Love does not look like truth; it is the truth, It does not look like a pleasant way, it is THE pleasant way, Love does not support a good life; It is the ideal life.
Those who have found love have a found one who walks past eternity into eternity

Forgive…

O Lord, remember not only the men and woman of good will, but also those of ill will. But do not remember all of the suffering they have inflicted upon us: Instead remember the fruits we have borne because of this suffering, our fellowship, our loyalty to one another, our humility, our courage, our generosity, the greatness of heart that has grown from this trouble. When our persecutors come to be judged by you, let all of these fruits that we have borne be their forgiveness…and help us lead a quiet but Loud life!

SECULAR WORSHIP; Part One

Will we walk into a depraved and a lost world with emblems of the lost world or the Cross of the Victorious Christ? Will we seek relevance to the world we preach to at the cost of Presenting The Crucified Christ and truly bring lost souls to the saving knowledge? Will we bow this low to the depravity of the human nature? Is Christ alone, Still the hope of our salvation, efficacious call and thence salvation?

Today, the church is still called the conscience of the society. Rightfully, the church appears to many as the only hope for a world that is shifting goals on morality and ethics. The church has managed through the years to keep a clear and sober vigilance in terms of absolutism and remaining the light of the world. Matt : 16

This seemingly seems to be drifting off the right track and men and women have interpreted Romans 12: 1 -2 (Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.) to suit their own agenda and embrace complacence compromise the truth of Gods truth.

Mortal men who have thought themselves as wise by their own standards have presented very awkward ways of presenting the truth that makes people wise unto salvation. The first estate have thought it of dire necesity to present a weak Christianity that will use the secular posters and emblems to trap their hearers in grace. We are treated to the thought that we will bring people to the knowledge of Christs’ saving grace by using the same thing that the youths and the rest of the secular world is treated to.

Paul understood that he will not win men to the presence of Gods’ love through his own wisdom.(1st Corinthians 2: 1, When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.)

God does not beg of us to persuade people into a shallow relationship that that is offering an alternative to the lost. God tells us that Christ is not just an option but THE way, THE truth and THE life. Jesus does not call this people to an alternative that the can try and probably find helpful. Bluntly, Jesus will not need the depravity in this world to assist Him bring men to His Knowledge. On the contrary, He bids us to lift up His name and he will draw men to Himself. (John 12: 32, And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.)
We are now getting to another gospel that we need to sympathize and entice people through secular roles and emblems to bring men to Christ. The most important emblem that the lost soul need in their lives is actually the Cross of Christ and not nude women and romantic positions. Men will be drawn from their pits of destitute through The power of the Holy Spirit and shall come to know and love their savior with all their hearts.

We must no longer go to the world in emblems and logo’s of the world as Aliens in this land, We must walk into the depraved world with the emblem of the Cross held high and trust that the power of Christ. It is a carnal mind that still bears the thought that we should become like the world in order to win the world to God. We must present the Love of Christ to the lost souls and point them to their true hope and savior and forget the ways that lead us towards conformation and complacence. The thought that there is something that will bring people to the church so as to trap them to hear the real gospel is a naive thought that seeks justification at the cost of Christ alone who calls, saves and seals through His Holy Spirit for the day of redemption…

THE POWER OF LOVE

We will always be proud of love,

proud of Love and not hate!

When all hate is taken away,

and we shall enter the gates of Love.

The gates of love opened to all,

Yesterday the gates opened,

and so we enter this gates today,

and live in happiness forever.

The silence of the heart can tell of love,

it is the power of the world,

the deliverance from all pains,

The nature of a Loving God.

Love is the gift and not the taker,

She is the silence and not the scream,

The Greatest sacrifice and gesture from God

Through Jesus Christ to a lost undeserving world.

Love is grace revealed,

Love is mercy unleashed,

Love is Christ on the Cross,

The power of Love is an empty tomb.

ATHEISM; A TRUTH OR A SEARCH FOR FREEDOM?

The world today has been entertained to the thought that there is a possibility of freedom from truth. Scores everyday are been lured daily that they can live free from the reality of a deity. Many have received this thought with great enthusiasm since it is palpable that man is always seeking freedom. Religion has been like a burden to many people today. It is a burden because people do not want to be mastered by absolute ethics and absolute Truth. There are people who would rather peg on relativity other than on the absoluteness of truth. The fact that religion advocates on absolute truth makes some people uncomfortable with pegging their ethos on such a truth.

This is evident by the rise of many people professing a disbelief in any deity. This thought has been shared by many people who are arguing that religion is actually behind all the atrocities of the world. How old is religion? The truth about religion is that it is as old as the human race. Any human race that has ever lived whether their history is documented or not, has always had a religion. The fact that this good people claiming to be atheists are advocating for a new way of life and a ‘peace’ does not make their widely shared opinion true. The human race must be made aware that every brilliant thought will not always represent truth. In the Christian Bible, Paul one of the prominent apostles predicted such a rise of this men and women who would still deny Gods existence. They would do this even though they have the truth before their very eyes. They would insist on having their way (Romans 1: 18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. NIV) According to many atheists, they contend there is a better and peaceful world without religion. This is quite a brilliant thought. Continue reading

THE PAIN OF WHO I AM,

THE PAIN OF WHO I AM,

I never intended to hurt anyone

I never intended to fail you

I never intended to be the worst

But today, I met the pain of who I am

I have through of death,

I have thought of pain

I have thought of the worst

When today, I met the pain of who I am

I fell from the topmost point of integrity

I fell with all my being before the hosts

I fell into the emptiness of nakedness

Then I fell into the pain of who I am.

I died yesterday, but my burial came earlier

I cried today, but I met the pain yesterday,

I dread what tomorrow holds for me

Since I met the pain of who I am

Rugged, filthy, liar, insolent, dead

Promise breaker, hopeless robber

Pretender, unrealistic, depraved

This is the truth of the pain of who I am

I have met the pain of who I am

I have gone to the ends of the world in this pain

I have woken up from the pain of pretense

Jesus is the only way from the pain of who I am

He walks with me, he gives me hope

He goes through the pain of my hopelessness

He is my imputed righteousness

Today, I know the way from the pain of who I am

Jesus Christ has taken all the consequences of who we are,

He stretches His hand for us to reach out to Him

Soon, the world we stand on shall collapse

But in the hands of Jesus, we are safe forever.
